MIC recruits qualified individuals to assist us in our day-to-day operations. Our unpaid intern positions provide a unique opportunity to obtain practical experience while learning about the local international community and gaining insight into international nonprofit organizations.
We have internships in the following areas:
Interns volunteer 10 hours per week, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Internships are available during the following time periods:
Spring Semester (January - May)
Summer (June - August)
Fall Semester (September-December).
Although most internships last only an academic semester, we do offer year-long internships. Year-long positions differ depending on organizational needs. If you would like to apply for an internship, please complete our online application. In order to be seiously considered for an internship, you must attach your résumé and a cover letter.
After your application is processed, you may be asked to submit a writing sample. Your writing sample need not be long; 2-5 pages in length is sufficient. Upon receiving your completed online application, résumé and cover letter, MIC may contact you for an interview.
